A view of Wonder Hagia Sophia ~Turkish: Ayasofya Müze or Ayasofya Camii; Greek: Ἁγία Σοφία, Holy Wisdom; Latin: Sancta Sophia or Sancta Sapientia~ in summertime. It is a former Orthodox patriarchal basilica, later a Mosque, and now a museum in Eminönü Fatih District of Şehr-i İstanbul, Turkey. It is one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture, rich with mosaics and marble pillars and coverings. After completion, Justinian is said to have exclaimed, Νενίκηκά σε Σολομών: Solomon, I have outdone thee!
