A view of Red Virichic ~Viridiflora~ Tulips at Emirgan Forest ~Turkish: Emirgan Korusu or Emirgan Park~ in Sarıyer District of Şehr-i İstanbul, Turkey. An exotic tulip with vase-shaped blooms composed of narrow, ruffled petals. The term Viridiflora is derived from two Latin words: Viridis meaning green and flos meaning flower. All Viridiflora Tulips have a streak of green somewhere on each petal. This contrasts dramatically with the basic flower colour ~white, pink, gold, etc~ but this type of tulips at Emirgan Forest is a special type.
