Hope you like my amateur photos..Though Blue Mosque looks magnificent in the picture, I forgot the sixth minare to zoom in my camera!! This magnificent architectural design was built between 1609 and 1616, during the rule of Sultan Ahmed I. That`s why Turkish People call it Sultan Ahmet Camii.. Like many other mosques, it also comprises a tomb of the founder, a madrasah and a hospice. While still used as a mosque, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque has also become a popular tourist attraction.
