Islands of Istanbul and a view of Aerial Spoon Island from the hills of Burgazada in winter (Turkish: İstanbul'un Adaları ve kışın Burgazada'nın tepelerinden Kaşık Adası'nın kuşbakışı görüntüsü).
Kaşık Island, (literally Spoon Island; Greek: Πίτα - νήσος) is one of the nine islands consisting the Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara, near Şehr-i Istanbul, Turkey. It is located between the islands of Burgazada and Heybeliada. The island calls as spoon because it looks like a spoon lying face-down on a table which has given the island its name. The old name of the island was Pita Island.
