A view of miniature Şanlıurfa Khalil-ür Rahman Mosque and Lake Balıklı (Fished Lake) at Miniatürk in springtime (Turkish: İlkbahar mevsiminde minyatür Şanlıurfa Halil-Ür Rahman Camii ve Balıklı Göl'ün Miniatürk Maket Park'ta bir görüntüsü). The park is a miniature theme park situated at the north-eastern shore of Golden Horn, literally Turkish Haliç or Altın Boynuz, in Şehr-i Istanbul, Turkey.
The Khalil-ür Rahman Mosque and Lake Balıklı, Turkish literally Halil-Ür Rahman Camii ve Balıklıgöl, is an artificial pond in Şanlıurfa Province, Southeastern Turkey. The pond is located southwest of the city center of Şanlıurfa (Kurdish Riha, Arabic الرها al-Ruhā, Syriac ܐܘܪܗ Urhoy, Armenian Ուռհա Owr'ha). It is also known as pond of Abraham and is about 150 × 25 m tall. According to Islamic conception is The Balıklıgöl the execution site of the Prophet Abraham. Holy Qur'an tells about King Nimrud and (Kral Nemrut) Prophet Abraham (Hz. İbrahim), burning at the stake. But God turned the fire into water and the burning wood in carp. So are the carp in the pond as sacred and should not be eaten. The Khalil-Ür Rahman Mosque is located in the southwest corner of the Lake Balıklı (Aynzeliha ve Halil-Ür Rahman Lakes) and encompasses a madrasa, a graveyard, and the area where Abraham fell when he was thrown into the fire. The mosque was built by the Ayyubid Maliq Ashraf Muaffereddin Musa in 1211-1212. The pool of sacred fish remains to this day.
